The Giving Mindest
The writer of First Corinthians lets us know that “all things are yours … and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s” (3:21-23). We belong to God and he has given us many blessings. We give with gratitude because we have been given much.
We find a command in Scripture to “Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). There is a joy in giving!
